Thanks for joining us online.

This site showcases the special and unique town of Downs, Kansas. Located in the center of a strong agricultural economy, Downs works hard to maintain a thriving retail base, vital community spirit, and a willingness to change with the times.

Kansas is made of small towns with big dreams. We can help make those dreams come true by working hard and supporting each other. From main street shops to family farms, Kansans have pressed through the challenges to provide for our families and communities. We think that's something to be proud of. That's why we want to hold onto these dreams for future generations. When you shop local, you help do that. It keeps jobs and tax dollars in the community you care about. By buying local, we support ourselves. The City of Downs supports Kansas. Join us, be Kansas Proud. (Original from KWCH 12 website)
